Dourish & Day received several awards in the West Midlands at the prestigious ESTAS Customer Service Awards for 2018, the biggest awards in the UK property industry. The winners were announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert at a lavish luncheon & ceremony at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane London attended by 1,000 of the UK’s top property professionals

 

Dourish & Day were presented with the following awards for the West Midlands region. Gold award rated by Tenants, Silver award rated by Landlords and Gold award rated by seller and buyers. In addition to these awards, the company also had a member of staff shortlisted for a people award which is a huge accolade considering over 4000 people were eligible.

Most importantly the Stafford office also walked away with the Silver trophy for the best single office throughout the whole of the UK, which is a huge achievement after only 13 months of trading.

The awards, celebrating their 15th year determine the best estate and letting agents in the UK based purely on feedback from customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent, over 36,000 surveys were completed by customers during the competition and for Dourish & Day to pick up silver in the UK category shows the strength of the customer service provided by this phenomenal team. 

Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2003 personally congratulated the team on their haul of trophies, stopping to have photographs with the team who can all be seen beaming from ear to ear. In his opening address Phil said “The ESTAS are special because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on the service you deliver to your clients. Real feedback from real customers experiencing real service, I don’t think there can be a greater honour in the industry than to receive an award based on that mantra.”

Dourish & Day has from inception been built on a strong customer service structure in the aim of putting old fashioned customer service back into the heart of estate agency, and its certainly paid off with a stellar reputation throughout Staffordshire & Shropshire. Based in the heart of Stafford town centre, Dourish & Day have successfully sold and let property throughout the region covering as far as Stoke On Trent and Newcastle right across to Telford and Market Drayton in Shropshire. Their reputation has been built on word of mouth recommendation from one client to another and has helped the business flourish.
